Crash is a very good movie. It didn't feel contrived or formulaic; indeed I thought to myself "Isn't that the way things go?" as the story explored some of the shades of grey to everyday modern life.
It was particularly interesting to see Don Cheadle, considering we watched Hotel Rwanda just the other night. Hotel Rwanda is an amazing story, simultaneously gut-wrenchingly depressing and uplifting. Paul Rusesabagina should serve as inspiration to us all. I'm fairly certain I wouldn't have had his strength or presence of mind.
